Eric Horgan

Winter Training Program

Aiken, South Carolina

January 29- March 10, 2018

Come join Eric in Aiken for the 2018 season.   Many of you will have ridden with him in previous years, or ridden with him in clinics, and know he provides a personal learning experience.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with him, Eric's instructional approach is to present an opportunity that promotes individual horse/rider performance based on achieving the goals set by you, that are specific to you and your horse’s needs.  The structure is designed to make the program flexible and accommodating to the riders.

Instruction cost is per lesson.   Individual lessons are 45-50 minutes.  Group lessons can be 2-4 riders, and are 90 minutes.   Eric's lesson fees do not include any additional fixed cost charged by the facility where the lesson is scheduled (ship-in fee, cross-country schooling fee, etc.).

There are several instructional options available depending on the number of times and the type of lesson.

          By the Ride:       $125/individual lesson

                                     $85/person for a group of 2

$65/person for a group of 3-4 (no groups larger than 4)

By the Block*:   $500 for a block of 5 individual lessons

$400/person for a block of 5 group lessons of 2 riders

$300/person for a block of 5 group lessons of 3-4 riders

$950 for a block of 10 individual lessons

$1,400 for a block of 15 individual lessons

*In order to be eligible for Block pricing, riders must pay in advance.  Scheduling can be flexible and can be stretched out over the entire time Eric is in Aiken.  A Block can be one discipline or a combination of dressage, show jumping or cross-country.  In order to take advantage of the group Block pricing option, riders will have to be responsible for putting together their own group and assuring that all group members can ride each time.

Stabling and housing are not included in Eric's program.  Riders are responsible for finding and renting space for themselves and their horses.   Eric will travel to certain farms around Aiken depending on where the majority of riders are housed.  If a group of riders are at the same farm he will make every effort to come to you, but some riders may have to ship to Eric.  The schedule is organized once riders have arrived in Aiken.  Some possible options for stabling and housing are listed below.
